Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, test, and maintain large-scale enterprise software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and implement data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading concepts.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues using Linux and other tools.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
Work closely with the engineering manager to design and implement new features.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with cloud development and AI concepts.
Excellent analytical and logical skills with strong troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
Strong understanding of database internals and analytics.
Knowledge of High Availability concepts and techniques.
Multi-cloud platform exposure.
Proficiency in AI concepts and tools, including integrating AI-driven solutions into software development.
Familiarity with QA automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium), including understanding how automated test scripts are written and integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Self-motivated and self-organizing individual with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Effective team player experienced in the software development life cycle.
Use of Agile methodologies and tools is advantageous.
Technical support to customers or customer-facing personnel.
Exposure to storage and filesystems is an advantage.
Working knowledge or exposure to cloud technologies is beneficial.
Understanding of cloud enablement features required for Teradata software.
Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software.
Good analytical and logical skills.
