Team and Position Summary: Our team works closely with our US stores and Walmart Health and Wellness business to better serve customers by empowering team members, pharmacies, and clinics with technological innovation. From pharmacies and clinics to mobile features, Walmart Health and Wellness offers an extensive selection that our customers and patients value, whether they meet with their clinicians online at Walmart.com , through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. What youll do: Develop features with the highest level of quality by thinking of all the ways that the feature can be broken, with resiliency plans and fail-safe mechanisms in place Managing Functional Partnerships Requires knowledge of Stakeholder identification and mapping Stakeholder analysis Stakeholder communication Stakeholder engagement techniques Work closely with our Front End Engineering, and Back End Engineering teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect FE System to BE Collaborate with leads and architects during implementation and constantly set a high goal for the betterment of the product as well as a path for career growth What youll bring: We are looking for a skilled backend developer experienced in Kotlin and Java, with a strong background in building APIs using Ktor and GraphQL (graphql-kotlin). Knowledge of Retrofit for API communication is essential. Youll work on scalable backend services and integrations in a cloud-friendly environment. At least 4 years of corporate work experience in API Development Extensive understanding of Android framework components and their respective lifecycles combined with a solid knowledge of multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning Solid programming experience with Java and Kotlin. Experience in developing APIs and backend services using Ktor and Spring Boot. Proficient with GraphQL and the graphql-kotlin library Experience using Retrofit for API integration. Knowledge of Gradle for build and dependency management. Strong understanding of RESTful services, microservices, and asynchronous programming. Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 2years experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company. Option 2: 4 years experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company. Preferred Qualifications... Certification in Security+, Network+, GISF, GSEC, CISSP, or CCSP, Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area
