Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking- JP Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Understand product requirements and functionality for Functional Testing.
Develop comprehensive scenarios and ensure data integrity for Contract and End-to-End (E2E) Testing.
Design, execute, and analyze Performance Testing.
Ensure new changes dont impact functionality through Regression Testing.
Create test plans and test cases by understanding product requirements in Test Planning.
Collaborate with product teams to define use cases and acceptance criteria during Requirement Analysis.
Identify and instrument test data.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Utilizes AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, EMR, and Step Functions.
Conducts API testing using Postman.
Executes complex SQL queries and performs data validation.
Performs performance testing using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
Manages data pipelines and ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Conducts log analysis for troubleshooting and debugging.
Develops basic automation scripts using Python.
Analyzes data for trends and insights using visualization tools.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Proven critical thinking ability; can understand all the available information, tie it all together, and speak to it clearly and concisely.
