As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Consumer Card Technology, you will play a vital role in an agile team, contributing to the design and delivery of innovative technology products. Your work will focus on developing critical technology solutions that align with the firm's business goals in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on innovative problem-solving approaches. - Create secure and high-quality production code, ensuring synchronous operation with relevant systems. - Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring adherence to design constraints. - Analyze and synthesize data sets to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement of software applications and systems. - Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive enhancements in coding hygiene and system architecture. - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and participate in events exploring new technologies. **Qualification Required:** - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience. - Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. - Proficiency in modern programming languages, database querying languages, and experience in a large corporate environment. - Ability to analyze complex systems, conduct failure analysis, and develop technical engineering documentation. - Expertise in DevOps processes, service-oriented architecture, web services/APIs, and modern software languages. - Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and proficiency in CI/CD tools. - Strong knowledge in Python and integrating with Python-based applications. - Understanding and hands-on experience with various AWS services for performance and cost optimization.
