As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - JP Wealth Management, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively. Here are some key responsibilities you will undertake: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms - Acquire experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Springboot, Hibernate frameworks - Build REST and SOAP web services using Java at internet scale - Gain experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS - Acquire experience with unit testing like jUnit and mock testing tools like Mockito In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience - Proficiency in Java/J2EE, hands-on experience in web services (Rest/Soap), and their concepts and implementation - Hands-on experience in Spring Core, MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring Boot - Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc - Knowledge of UI frameworks like Angular V4 or ReactJS - Proficiency in SQL/NOSQL databases along with PL/SQL, ORM (MyBatis/Hibernate), and basic Linux/UNIX - Experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ, JUnits, Maven, BitBucket/GIT, and JIRA - Ability to utilize build tools like Maven, Gradle, and building messaging and event-driven architectures - Proficiency in working with multiple database platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL) and strong HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON skills Additionally, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies - Exposure to cloud technologies - Preference for knowledge on Cloud, CI/CD (Jenkins/Sonar), Test Automation (TDD/BDD) experience,
