Software Engineer II

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Valorem Reply, you will be part of a team responsible for developing solutions for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 Clients. You will play a key role in the development life cycle, working closely with business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented architects and engineers on multiple projects, learning and implementing best development practices. Key Responsibilities: - Be an active individual contributor on a team, creating working and readable code that aligns with business requirements and participating in code reviews - Understand project scopes, architectural diagrams, and requirements to break down granular requirements and implement them as part of a project team - Work in an Agile team and actively participate in team meetings - Promote the organization's present technology within the team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field - 4 years of experience with Microsoft and open-source technologies - Proficiency in developing web-based interfaces, including ASP.Net MVC, Angular/React.js, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, and modern Single Page Applications - Experience working with Microsoft Azure, including Compute & Containers, Database & Storage, Integration, Security, and Azure Management - Understanding and experience implementing software design patterns, including basic OO concepts, SOLID principles, and database development in SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ - Proficiency with Web APIs, experience with Microservices preferred, and working knowledge of .Net Core About Reply: Valorem Reply is an award-winning digital transformation firm specializing in data-driven enterprise solutions, IT modernization, customer experience, product transformation, and digital workplace.
