Software Engineer- II (Frontend)

You are a Senior Software Engineer at Attentive.ai, a fast-growing vertical SaaS start-up that provides innovative software solutions for the landscape, paving & construction industries in the United States. Your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining beautiful interfaces and complex client-side applications of the SaaS product. Your responsibilities include writing effective and reusable code, developing user-facing elements securely integrated with the internal backend, participating in system design discussions, taking ownership of assigned modules, mentoring junior team members, conducting brainstorming sessions, testing and debugging programs, improving existing systems" functionality, and implementing security and data protection solutions. Additionally, you will assess and prioritize feature requests, understand user requirements, and provide technical solutions in coordination with internal teams. To excel in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of internet fundamentals, server technologies, and HTTP protocol. You should possess 2-6 years of software development experience with expertise in frontend technologies, core UI development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and experience with Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, and relevant libraries. A strong UX sense, product & design knowledge, understanding of SEO principles, and experience in responsive interface design are essential. You should also have familiarity with cloud services like AWS and GCP, testing frameworks/libraries, browser automation technologies, and excellent communication skills. It would be beneficial to have an understanding of Geographic Information Systems, front-end mapping libraries, webpack configuration, web page optimization, and Docker build systems.
