Software Engineer II

As a Software Engineer II at Contentstack, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js. Additionally, you will contribute to frontend development using React.js or any other modern frontend framework. Here are the key responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js - Contribute to frontend development using React.js or any modern frontend framework - Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD) - Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and maintain technical documentation - Support CI/CD pipelines and follow Git workflows for smooth delivery - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features - Explore and integrate emerging technologies including AI/ML where relevant - Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications The must-have skills for this role include: - Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript - Familiarity with React.js, Vue, Angular, or similar frameworks - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API design - Good understanding and practical application of TDD - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows - Familiarity with Agile development processes Nice-to-have skills: - Exposure to AI technologies or a strong interest in learning them - Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch - Cloud experience, preferably with AWS In addition to the technical skills, Contentstack is looking for candidates with 3 to 5 years of experience in software engineering. The location for this role is in Bangalore.
