Software Engineer II

As a member of Bank of America's Global Business Services team in India, you will be a part of a diverse and inclusive workplace that values your contributions. You will have the opportunity to work on technology platforms for managing the digital document lifecycle for bank documents. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining imaging applications for the Document, Content and Record Services group. You will be responsible for independently analyzing requirements, estimating work, planning schedules, documenting system design specs, coordinating with multiple teams, attending technical meetings, and providing deployment build and release documentation. In addition, you should be able to multitask with more than one project, troubleshoot urgent production issues, and work closely with the production support team to improve platform stability, availability, and resiliency. You will also analyze Splunk and Dynatrace dashboards to identify and resolve problems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Migration of content from legacy systems - Performance tuning and improving system stability - Planning and executing disaster recovery strategies - Developing code in collaboration with offshore and onshore teams - Participating in Agile calls, reviewing user stories, and raising queries to relevant stakeholders - Working with other teams for code integration and fixing integration defects - Creating technical specifications and performing unit testing - Working on Java, Spring boot, Mongo DB, and NoSQL DB **Qualifications Required:** - Graduation/Post Graduation in a relevant field - 6-12 years of experience - Foundational skills in Java/J2EE, Spring boot, Mongo DB/NoSQL DB, and technical analysis - Desired skills in working on large content management platforms and cloud-based infrastructure Bank of America offers a work timing of 11 AM - 8 PM IST and the job location is in Chennai and Mumbai.
