Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer/ Software Engineer at EY, you will be responsible for technical deliverables on assigned projects, ensuring high-quality application engineering deliverables are produced according to project timelines. Your key responsibilities include: - Translating detailed Requirements and Design deliverables into Solution Design Documents - Maintaining effective communication within the team and with peers - Proactively raising issues to the team and Project Manager when necessary - Producing high-quality application development deliverables - Building and unit testing projects to detailed design specifications - Adhering to Application Engineering methodologies, standards, and code reviews In terms of decision-making, you will apply judgment in implementing application development methodologies to project requirements, demonstrating sound analytical and problem-solving skills to manage technical challenges effectively. You will also be responsible for converting business and technical requirements into appropriate solutions and ensuring the quality of technical deliverables. Key Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Experience with Microsoft technologies, including C#, ASP .Net, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, MS SQL Server, MS Visual Studio .Net, SQL Reporting services/SSRS, and SSIS - Knowledge of MS .NET Framework and experience with Angular (a plus) - Timely creation of technical artifacts such as solution design documents - Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills - Awareness of new and emerging technologies in the IT field In addition to the technical skills, the following behavioral competencies are essential for success in this role: - Team Work/Co-Operation - Results & Achievement orientation - Flexibility/Adaptability - Client Focus - Excellent written and verbal communication Desired skills include knowledge of OOAD, UML, UML tools, and configuration management with TFS.
