Software Engineer- EWM with TM

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Certifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
• SAP EWM certification is preferred

Required Experience

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM as a functional configurator or techno-functional consultant with TM experience
• End-to-end implementation and support experience in complex warehouse environments
• Experience with EWMTM integration.
• Good functional understanding of SAP TM processes
• Experience working with global teams across time zones in agile environments

Essential skills

• In-depth expertise in SAP EWM configuration (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes)
• Proficiency in RF framework, Warehouse Order Creation Rules, Storage Control, and Physical Inventory processes
• Understanding of integration points with MM, SD, TM, and third-party logistics
• Experience with SAP decentralized EWM and S/4HANA embedded EWM models
• Ability to write functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams for custom developments
• Knowledge of master data dependencies and role-based access controls within EWM

Desired skills

• Familiarity with automation tools, conveyor integrations, and material flow systems
• Strong debugging skills and ability to perform impact analysis
• Experience with cutover planning and post-go-live hypercare support
• Exposure to SAP TM, LE modules or other SCM modules is a plus
• Basic ABAP debugging skills for functional support

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery and Execution

• Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions to meet business requirements
• Drive workshops, create functional designs, and deliver high-quality configurations
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
• Lead defect triaging, root cause analysis, and closure during testing cycles
• Own development of process documentation and training materials

Support and Enablement

• Provide technical and functional support to business users across regions
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation, process optimization and digitalization
• Ensure compliance with change management and IT governance standards
