The Software Engineer, D&T, Mobile Dev / MAUI role requires an individual with extensive knowledge and experience to independently oversee and participate in the design, development, and enhancement of West applications. Working collaboratively with an internal team, you will contribute to an efficient and effective production flow. You must possess a solid understanding of the overall vision, business needs, and solution architecture for cross-platform mobile applications. Leveraging this in-depth knowledge, you will tackle complex problems effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing cross-platform applications for iOS, Android, and Windows using Xamarin, Xamarin Forms, and MAUI while adhering to best practices. Crafting high-quality code for both native and cross-platform mobile applications will be a key aspect of your role. Designing a rich user experience with adaptive/responsive UI design for consumer-grade usability is essential. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing restful API services and implementing Push Notifications for Android and iOS platforms. It is crucial to transform business requirements into technical specifications, estimate technical requirements, and break down work into user stories and tasks. Your role will involve planning, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring cross-platform mobile apps in a DevOps model. Conducting Code Reviews, debugging, troubleshooting production issues and crashes, as well as generating testing and test cases for new and existing programs to ensure error-free applications are also part of your responsibilities. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is preferred for this role, along with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience. Having an understanding and knowledge of the overall Cross-Platform app development ecosystem, lifecycle, user experiences, and roadmaps is beneficial. Experience in deploying applications to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, familiarity with SAP Hana Rest API services, and ODATA services Integration with Xamarin/MAUI are advantageous. Previous development experience with Native Android, Windows, and IOS (using C#, Core Java, Swift/Xcode) is a plus. Familiarity with new age AI tools like Cursor or equivalent tools for coding with Natural Language is also beneficial. Compliance with relevant SOPs and the company's safety and quality policies is essential. You should be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment, demonstrating a self-motivated work ethic and sound judgment.
