Software Engineer (C++, C)

As a Software Engineer at Autodesk, you will be part of the team shaping the future of Factory Design solutions in Autodesk Fusion. Your role will involve participating in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of applications, ensuring the production of well-structured, secure, and maintainable code. You will collaborate with teams to meet project goals, utilize cloud technologies for scalable solutions, and participate in on-call rotation to support production systems. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in software development, specifically with proficiency in cloud-connected desktop applications. A strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms is required, as well as proficiency in C++, C#, .NET Core, and .Net Framework. Additionally, experience with building user interfaces using WPF and/or WinForms, database technologies like MSSQL, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins is necessary. Excellent debugging skills, ability to quickly learn new languages and frameworks, and familiarity with event-driven architecture principles are also important. Preferred qualifications include experience in developing add-ins, plugins, and content libraries (preferably Autodesk), as well as familiarity with CAD concepts and Discrete Event Simulation.
