Software Engineer (Boomi Developer)

The Engineer is responsible for creating solutions for global customer needs to meet their interfacing requirements with UKG's products in their environment. The interfacing requirements could be creating different kind of repeatable and highly configurable Boomi integrations and BPM Activiti workflows and creating automated test scripts to test the integrations. The Engineer should have in-depth knowledge of the Boomi and some knowledge of related tools like Postman which will assist in creating these customized and repeatable solutions.
The successful candidate will utilize the defined implementation process to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. They will work closely with team for development tasks and will work closely with the UKG Product Management team.Other responsibilities will include the following tasks:Understanding the requirements from the product managersHelping leads/architects in preparing the design documentCoding, testing and deploying the Boomi interfacesCoding, testing and deploying the Activiti BPM workflowsCreating Groovy scripts to be used in Boomi integrations and Activiti workflowsCreating automated test scripts to test Boomi iPacksOwning technical delivery for assigned projects to deliver within timelines and with good qualityQualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fieldAt least 3-5 years of industry experience; minimum 12-18 months on Boomi on actual production projectsDesigned and developed integration using Boomi AtomSphere integration platformExperience in Dell Boomi components, connectors, Application Source Qualifier, Mapping Designer and TransformationsKnowledge on Rest API, SOAP framework, XML, Web service designExperience in creating interfaces for upstream/downstream applicationsBasic java programming knowledgeAdvanced backend java development experience is an additional advantageGroovy scripting knowledge is an additional advantageActiviti BPM knowledge and ability to create business process is an additional advantageBoomi external certification is highly desiredDomain knowledge of HCM is an additional advantageExperience in creating APIs and managing them using Boomi is an additional advantageDetailed Analytical and logical reasoning skillsExcellent oral(spoken English) and written communication skills
