Software Engineer (BI)

Role Overview: As a BI Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality BI reporting solutions and SQL development support to the business. Your role is crucial in improving the quality and speed of decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver regular BI reporting to support the business, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines. - Develop new BI reporting requirements and associated system/process changes to a high standard and within deadlines. - Ensure accuracy of data used for BI reports by extracting from the data warehouse and other sources, collaborating with other business functions as needed. - Streamline data and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and minimize business continuity risks. - Provide support, documentation, and training to BI team members to meet overall BI deliverables. - Conduct ad-hoc analysis to assist the business when necessary. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of SQL and BI development experience. - Proficiency in SQL Server 2012/2008R2, TSQL, and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). - Proficient in Microsoft Excel. - Experience with QlikView or QlikSense is advantageous. - Experience with Microsoft BI components in Azure and C# programming is beneficial. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. - Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in managing various business areas and stakeholders. - Excellent attention to detail, logical thinking, and high accuracy levels. - Initiative-driven with a passion for BI.
