About the role

We are looking for passionate engineers to join the Integration team, Bangalore. This is a team role and you ll be involved in many aspects helping evolve our existing partner integration, working with teams to integrate new partners, and implementing new features and functionality.

What you will be doing:

- Own the partner integration process from communicating with a range of stakeholders (Partners, Commercial team based in Dubai) to production deployment and post-deployment monitoring

- Develop partner integrations which involve consuming JSON/XML/SOAP APIs

- Write screen scrapers and data imports

- Work in a collaborative environment with the Engineering teams based in Singapore, Jakarta, and Kuala Lumpur

- Ensure the quality of partner information used in Wego

- Use monitoring systems so that we can quickly detect, alert and fix integration issues.

To be successful in this role, you ll need:

- At least 2 years of experience in Software Development in a backend stack.

- Good understanding of different data exchange formats like JSON/XML/SOAP.

- Deep working knowledge and experience with the Java programming language.

- Familiarity with version control systems and development environments.

- Good working knowledge with relational databases/non-relational databases.

- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills (English).

- Basic understanding of linux CLI.

It would be great if you have:

Experience with Node.js, Ruby
Experience with container technology (e.g. Docker) and Kubernetes.
Experience working in the Travel Tech industry.
