Software Engineer

Role overview:

• As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design and implement components of our platforms, willingness to switch from front to back end as per the demands of the product.
• As a key member of the technical team, you will routinely interact with Global Product Managers, Commercial worldwide Terminal Staff, External Customers, Architects, Maersk/APMT Engineering community.

What you will do:

• Minimum 7+ yrs of experience in design, develop, implement, and support high-performance, scalable solutions Using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka/Confluent Business Events, relational databases (such as Oracle or MSSQL), Azure Cloud, Containerization & Kubernetes (K8S), Front End React/VueJS.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that meet the needs of our frontend and mobile applications. Develop and maintain integrations between APIs and backend services, including databases, microservices, and third-party APIs
• Experience of building micro-services. We use Java 17 and Spring Boot, running them in Docker containers deployed on Kubernetes. Bonus points for reactive programming.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Possess working knowledge for change data capture and stream processing.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Security measures such as OAuth, JWT, API keys, IAM.
• Work with API Management Platform Ex: APIGEE/KONG and familiarity with features of developer portals.
