Software Engineer 1

As part of the Infrastructure product organization, you will contribute to developing infrastructure instrumentation agents, data processing services, vulnerability management, and security testing capabilities for on-premises and cloud customers. As a senior backend engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, building, maintaining, and scaling back-end services and support tools. You will participate in architectural definitions with innovation and creativity, create automation and tooling for scalability and ease of deployment, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to assist customers and partners. Researching new tools and services, working in an agile DevOps environment, and staying abreast of industry trends are key aspects of this role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field, with at least 2 years of experience working as a software engineer in Java and/or Go. Strong computer science background, experience in designing and maintaining large-scale software systems, mentorship abilities, and understanding of scalable distributed systems are essential requirements. Additionally, a passion for exploring new technologies, excellent collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to learning and implementing innovative solutions are sought after. Bonus points are awarded for contributions to open-source projects, familiarity with relevant tech stacks, expertise in build and test automation, experience in technical mentorship, and proficiency in asynchronous programming techniques.
