Software Development Manager

As a Manager of Software Development, you will lead the engineering team and work with architects to identify and deliver new features and operate the service at massive scale. You should be a distributed systems generalist, able to architect broad systems interactions, while being very hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.Demonstrate leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Responsibilities

• Candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and strategy
• Delivering large scale projects on-time with high quality
• Establish and develop the team to execute on strategy.
• Working with geographically distributed teams and contribute to the success of his/her and other related teams.
• Recruit and continue to build out a capable and cohesive engineering team.
• Demonstrate success mentoring and growing junior engineers to senior levels.

Minimum Qualifications :

• 9+ years experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems.
• 2+ year experience of people management
• Strong knowledge of C, C++ or Java,
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Working familiarity with REST API and standard network architectures.
• Experienced in building multi-tenant, virtualised infrastructure a strong plus.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
