Software Development Manager Engineering Solutions

Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a strategic leader with deep expertise in software development and analytics to lead a portfolio of distributed software solutions and services for core engineering teams in the semiconductor domain. As the Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the technology roadmap aligned with business goals, leading transformative initiatives, and managing a team of about 30 software developers and data engineers. Your role will involve providing technical expertise across a portfolio of software development and analytics projects, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, and collaborating with global teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions and analytics that meet business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of hands-on experience in software development, leadership, and managing teams. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of the semiconductor domain and chipset development lifecycle, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or similar, experience with technologies like Elastic, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, etc., expertise in software lifecycle management, version control, CI/CD best practices, data engineering, and analytics, as well as experience with public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Minimum Qualifications include 7+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor's degree, along with 4+ years in a leadership role in projects/programs.
