Software Development Manager

As a talented manager at our company, you will be responsible for creating reusable frameworks and helping build large scale systems in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with a highly skilled pool of Software Development Engineers, you will drive the next level of features, guide and mentor the team, and lead them to build reliable and highly scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Optimize your own code and ensure that engineers are able to optimize theirs - Manage business goals, contribute to product strategy, and help develop the team - Work with multiple stakeholders from requirements gathering to post-production - Ensure the sanity of software architecture, operational excellence, and quality - Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption - Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular deep mentoring - Perform regular performance evaluations and share and seek feedback Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a scalable and available set-up - Superior project management skills to manage multi-engineer projects and deliver high-quality projects on time - Strong object-oriented design skills - Analytical and quantitative skills, strategic thinking, and methodical execution - Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams simultaneously - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous innovation - Excellent leadership skills to mentor engineers - Passion for building a strong Engineering culture - Minimum of 8+ years of relevant industry experience - Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering from a reputed institute If you are excited about operating with scale and speed amidst flux, this position offers a great platform for you to showcase your skills and contribute to our team.
