Your team will be at the forefront of developing innovative, multi-tenant systems that streamline the author support experience and help writers navigate their publishing journey on Amazon. Youll have the autonomy to shape the technical direction of author support systems while working on challenging problems at Amazon scale. Key job responsibilities Lead and inspire a team of talented engineers building mission-critical solutions that directly impact authors success Architect and deliver scalable, efficient systems that handle high volumes of author inquiries daily Partner directly with internal stakeholders to understand pain points and develop elegant technical solutions Drive automation and innovation in our author support systems Transform complex author support workflows into streamlined, technical solutions - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of engineering experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
