Software Development Engineer

As a skilled and driven engineer at XpressBees, you will contribute to building highly scalable, reliable, and performant cloud-based platforms for driving the logistics business. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business and technology challenges related to the portfolio of products, identify gaps in current tools, and work towards designing optimal solutions. - Influence and design system architecture across multiple product and technology areas, while also leading and mentoring other talented engineers. - Interact with Product Managers and Designers to translate their vision into technical solutions, taking ownership of software deliverables and mentoring the team. - Work closely with SDEs and Front-End Engineers to own end-to-end design of major deliverables, emphasizing best practices and high-quality solutions. - Utilize object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms to mentor the engineering team, following agile methodologies and building scalable services/interfaces. - Possess experience in cloud software services development, web service APIs, mentoring software developers, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. - Demonstrate expertise in software engineering practices, distributed computing, and building large-scale, high-performance systems. - Apply design and architecture expertise, along with knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design patterns, to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Qualifications: - Experience in developing cloud software services with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. - Proficiency in defining, developing, and maintaining web service APIs, with a demonstrated ability to mentor other developers. - Strong communication skills for interacting with users, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements and describe technical designs. - Proven track record in leading the development of complex software systems, adhering to best practices throughout the software development life cycle. - Deep understanding of CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis. - Expertise in building large-scale, high-performance systems in a distributed environment, with design and architecture proficiency. - Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with skills in Data Structures, Algorithms, Java, and Python.,
