Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at our company, you will play a strategic role in delivering high-quality software through advanced automation and full-stack development expertise. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing a deep understanding of product functionality, system architecture, and user workflows to analyze system design and interfaces for implementing optimal testing strategies. - Acting as a Solution Engineer in major projects and releases to deliver technical solutions that enable early automation and reduce the testing window. - Developing and maintaining scalable, reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborating with development teams to test full-stack features across frontend, backend, and databases, writing high-quality, maintainable code for automated tests in Java and related technologies. - Defining and executing testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of business-critical workflows, implementing non-functional testing like load, scalability, and security testing. - Proactively identifying potential quality issues, contributing to early defect prevention, and collaborating closely with developers to resolve defects efficiently. - Analyzing test execution results to drive continuous improvements in product quality and testing processes, researching and implementing innovative testing tools and techniques. - Fully engaging in Agile ceremonies to align testing efforts with development goals, working closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to validate and automate critical user stories. Your required skills and competencies include proficiency in Java with strong full-stack development capabilities and in-depth product knowledge, extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks, expertise in E2E and functional integration testing, familiarity with CI/CD tools, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of non-functional testing tools and security testing practices. You should have 5-8 years of experience in an IT Quality role and a minimum of 3 years of experience as an SDET. A Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience is required.
