A Day in the Life

• Partner with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable, high-performance, and reliable systems, ensuring maintainability and long-term stability.
• Set coding standards, enforce best practices, and lead code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex technical challenges, guiding the team toward effective solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.
• Influence technical strategy, process improvements, and long-term roadmap decisions.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 68 years of full-stack engineering experience with expertise in Node.js (Fastify, Koa, Express), distributed systems design, and deep proficiency in React, Redux, TypeScript, and frontend performance optimization.
• Proven track record in architecting large-scale, high-performance, and maintainable frontend systems.
• Expertise in progressive web apps (PWAs), server-side rendering, and frontend build optimizations.
• Advanced knowledge of scalability, caching strategies, security practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with leading design system implementation and ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG standards).
• Proven track record in architecting and scaling backend systems for high availability and performance.
• Expertise in microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first architectures.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, database scaling (SQL/NoSQL), and advanced caching strategies.
• Strong proficiency in system performance optimization, fault tolerance, and observability.
• Advanced hands-on experience with:
• Designing and integrating LLM-based systems at scale.
• Multiple AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI) and their ecosystem.
• Building production-ready RAG pipelines with vector DBs (Pinecone, ChromaDB) and embedding models.
• AI observability and governance platforms (MLflow, LangSmith, or equivalents).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to lead large initiatives, mentor mid-level and junior engineers, and drive technical decision-making.
• Strategic mindset to align backend and AI architectures with business goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly debug and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality software solutions within tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking and a data-driven mindset to make informed decisions.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
