Introduction to team

In this role, you will:

Identify inefficiencies in code or systems operation and offer suggestions for improvements
Expand your skills in developing high quality, distributed and scalable software
Share new skills and knowledge with the team to increase efficiency Write code that is clean, maintainable, and optimized with good naming conventions
Develop fast, scalable, and highly available services
Participate in code reviews and pull requests

Experience and qualifications:

5+ years software development work experience using modern languages i.e. Java/Kotlin
Bachelor s in computer science or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
Experience in Java, Scala, Kotlin, AWS, Kafka, S3, Lambda, Docker, Datadog
Problem solver with a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed applications
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, data structure, algorithms, and test-driven development
Solid understanding of load balancing, caching, database partitioning, caching to improve application scalability
Demonstrated ability to develop and support large-sized internet-scale software systems
Experience in AWS Service
Knowledge of No-SQL databases and cloud computing concepts
Sound understanding of client-side optimization best practices
Ability to quickly pick up new technologies, languages with ease
Working knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about quality of work
