Software Development Engineer II

As an experienced and passionate Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join our engineering team and play a vital role in developing and delivering core product features that contribute to predicting and preventing cyber breaches. You will collaborate closely with our Design, Product, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. Your role will involve a high level of responsibility, from code mastery to project execution, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to take charge of feature development by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that propels our product forward. You will actively engage in architectural discussions, contributing your expertise to implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Conducting thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members will also be a key aspect of your role. You will leverage AWS services, including but not limited to AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, and RDS, to deploy and optimize cloud-based solutions. Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions will be essential. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in project planning, execution, and timely delivery of features, ensuring adherence to project timelines and scope. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development roles is required, with proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go. Hands-on experience in API development using Typescript and frameworks like Express is preferred. Knowledge of modern web development technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and cloud computing concepts is advantageous. Your ability to build and deploy applications in a containerized environment, along with a proven track record of delivering high-performance and scalable platforms in an agile setting, will be crucial. Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking abilities, and familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation) will further enhance your suitability for this role.
