Job Description

Join a high-impact Commerce Risk team that has enabled GoDaddy s payments business to scale to billions in annual volume while consistently outperforming fraud targets. Over the past six years, our team s innovation and adaptability have kept us ahead of evolving fraud patterns. As a Software Engineer, you'll help design and build advanced Risk services, tackling challenges like ingesting massive datasets for real-time decisions and rolling out new risk rules rapidly. we're integrating machine learning to further boost our accuracy and adaptability. With our rapid growth and deeper integration into GoDaddy, you'll face unique opportunities in scalability and availability. What you'll get to do...

Collaborate with a remarkable background of engineering, product, and operations team members to define, influence, and gather requirements for Risk Underwriting solutions and to deliver top tech solutions for our customers
Interact with various stakeholders to define detailed designs for your features
Participate in on-call rotation, production issue investigation, and post-mortems
Help senior engineers and management in the quarterly roadmap planning process

Your experience should include...

2+ years experience developing secure, high-performance cloud applications using Java and server-side technologies
1+ year of hands-on experience building user interfaces with ReactJS
Solid understanding of distributed systems and experience with either SQL or NoSQL databases
Proven ability to design and implement we'll-structured APIs for external partners or third-party integration
Familiarity with web application servers (such as Tomcat, Glassfish, or JBoss), Spring or Hibernate frameworks, and modern design patterns (OO, DI, IoC, or asynchronous processing)

You might also have...

Experience in Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Redis
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Prior experience with payments and risk
Experience working with data pipelines, data warehousing, and analytics tools (Spark, Hadoop, Redshift etc)
