What You’ll Achieve: As a Software Developer, you’ll work on PHP frameworks (CakePHP/Laravel/Yii/Phalcon) with a leading retail software company. You will: Collaborate with the product team on technical requirements. Design and implement scalable backend modules and frontend components. Own small to mid-sized modules/features from design to delivery. Write high-performance, maintainable code (~5 million API jobs/day). Review peer code for quality and consistency. Plan and automate tests with QA. Ensure module availability, scalability, and performance. Participate in system optimization and Agile ceremonies. What We’re Looking For: Essential: 2–5 years’ experience in backend development with a PHP 5+ framework (CakePHP/Laravel/Yii/Phalcon). Strong MySQL and relational database knowledge. Experience in Angular.js/React.js/Vue.js. Solid HTML5/CSS3 skills for responsive design. Experience with RESTful APIs. Desirable: Exposure to Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD tools. Knowledge of AWS/Azure. Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, NoSQL. Secondary languages like Python/Node.js. Experience with performance optimization.
