Software Development Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Autodesk, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality, secure, and stable code for Fusion 360 products. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that new code adheres to coding standards, troubleshooting, and debugging code written primarily in C++. You will program in C++ using MS Visual Studio and XCode on macOS, taking ownership of tasks and proactively seeking solutions. Your role in the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division will contribute to driving developer productivity, cross-platform device independence, and software platform consistency. Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality, secure, and stable code for Fusion 360 products - Implement guidance to enhance customer experience - Ensure new code meets established coding standards and design specifications - Maintain, troubleshoot, and debug code primarily in C++ - Be flexible and responsive to changing conditions - Program in C++ using MS Visual Studio and XCode on macOS - Take ownership of tasks and proactively seek solutions Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or another relevant engineering discipline - 2+ years of experience with C++ - Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills - Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, STL, Qt, and Boost - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with cross-platform application development using Visual Studio on Windows and XCode on macOS - Experience with Scrum methodology, JIRA, and Git - Familiarity with JavaScript and/or ReactJS is a plus Join Autodesk, a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, on a transformative journey to revolutionize the Design-to-Manufacture industry with Fusion 360.
