Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the DC Acrobat Mobile Team at Adobe Document Cloud to lead Android development. The team is focused on delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise solutions in an energetic and collaborative Agile software development environment. Your role will involve designing and building end-to-end solutions that enhance user experience and contribute to achieving business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Own the vision for PDF workflows on Android by defining product features, crafting system architecture, and implementing standard methodologies to ensure a quality product. - Adapt to an agile environment and demonstrate a passion for exploring new opportunities in mobile development. - Utilize your strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, mobile technologies, and hands-on experience in building customer-facing mobile products. - Design and build reliable, scalable, and high-performance products while innovating new features and influencing the architecture and design of solutions. - Share knowledge with peers, mentor junior team members, and stay updated on new technologies and techniques to advocate for their use in your work. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science/IT with a minimum of 5+ years of Android development experience. - Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with a solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools. - Proven expertise in architecture and design for developing robust and innovative mobile applications. - Experience working on large codebases, debugging multi-threaded & asynchronous code, and implementing efficient solutions considering resource constraints of mobile devices. - Ability to innovate new features, influence architecture & design, and mentor team members to enhance creativity and innovation.
