Project Role :Software Development Engineer

Project Role Description :Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Summary:As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.- Design and develop software solutions based on the requirements.- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of the software.- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and bug fixing.- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Proficiency in SAP Global Trade Services.- Strong understanding of business processes related to global trade.- Experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing SAP GTS solutions.- Knowledge of SAP GTS configuration and customization.- Experience in integrating SAP GTS with other SAP modules and external systems.- Good To Have

Skills:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.- Experience in working with ABAP programming language.- Knowledge of SAP GTS compliance management and customs management.- Familiarity with SAP GTS reporting and analytics tools.- Understanding of import and export processes and regulations.- Recommendation:Knowledge of SAP GTS implementation methodologies and best practices.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP Global Trade Services.- This position is based at our Chennai office.- A 15 years full-time education is required. Qualification
