What you will do:Flex your strength and knowledge of GraphQL in a distributed system, DevOps, service development, and support.Define and ensure services are built to client standards and governance guidelines and industry best practices.Architect and write code to implement a high-quality, scalable, future-proof platform that will have effective system boundaries and will support long-term vision & strategy.Focus on production readiness for the team including testing, monitoring, deployment, documentation, and proactive troubleshooting.Identify risks and gaps in technical approaches and propose solutions to meet the team's technical visionWork closely with product managers, designers, and peer engineering teams to define project requirements and execution plansWork within an Agile culture to foster continuous improvement at the team and departmental level Required
Qualifications:Bachelors Degree5+ years of experience in engineering3+ years of deep Federated GraphQL experience is required3+ years of hands-on Java development experienceProven experience implementing and consuming GraphQL APIs (GraphQL Java, Apollo, or similar frameworks)Expertise with a modern programming language (such as NodeJS, TypeScript, Rust, Java, or others).Experience with common open source tools and framework, eg:Azure DevOps, GitHub, React, Java microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, etc.Experience operating distributed services at scale, including familiarity with observability tools, logging techniques, troubleshooting, and incident response.Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications - Masters Degree - GraphQL Developer or Professional certification - Flexible to work in shifts Qualification
