Project Role : Software Development Engineer Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. Must have skills : SAP MM Inventory Management Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key decisions, ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Roles & Responsibilities: Support the current MM footprint, Analyze and solve the SAP MM issues, Conduct SAP MM process configuration, Update and maintain all SAP MM functional documentation, Analyze and scope end user authorization roles Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests and system Integration Should co-ordinate with business and internal team to complete business requirements Knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems. Experience in analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement. Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Professional & Technical Skills: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in implementation & Support of S4 HANA MM and projects AP configuration implementation and support in S/4 Hana environment. Prefer to have global experience in leading the SCM track in multiple country implementation with local taxation. Strong experience in Finance integration preferred with respect to MM. Ability to capture and translate business needs into functional specifications. Has experience in integrating the S4 with other systems. Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management. Good technical knowledge around tables, structures and function modules, Good knowledge about SAP Material Master -information related to various attributes/fields within each view Setting up split valuation that is based on different valuation categories such as grade and source of materials, country or origin, etc Preparing master data templates for different objects like vendor master, Business partner, material master, Info-records, excise master, purchase order, and source list To configure the release Professional Attributes : Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements Time management Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Implement quality processes and methodologies to improve control and integrity.Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP MM Inventory Management.
