Summary:Are you an experienced software engineer looking to drive the technical direction of market leading (#1) software products. Join us to help develop our Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate has full-stack expertise in development, design, testing, and operations, with experience in scalable Cloud Native SaaS solutions. Platform experience is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:Development:Design, code (hands-on), and maintain (proactive monitoring, troubleshooting) software solutions using object-oriented or modern languages (Java, Go etc.) Test:Create test scenarios and design, develop, and execute corresponding automated tests. Cloud Infrastructure:Experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure or GCP. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm etc.) Design:Beginning to understand and implement design patterns. Code Reviews:Participate in code reviews. Continuous Improvement:Stay current with industry trends and emerging technology. Learn from mistakes with blameless Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Technical experience and professional attributes:REST API, database technologies (RDBMS and/or NoSQL), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Test automation scenarios leveraging API test automation (request library/component parameterization) and UI (Cypress, Selenium or similar). Microservices, event driven arch (Pulsar, SNS/SQS), CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Front-end technologies (e.g. React, Angular) are a plus. Understanding of security best practices. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills across time zones. Educational Qualifications:Education:Masters degree (preferred) or bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience:4+ years in software development and testing, ideally with 1+ year in Cloud Native or SaaS applications.
