SummaryThe AVEVA UE Electrical Engineer (Build, Configuration & Data Management) will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and managing electrical data models within AVEVA Unified Engineering (UE) to support digital project execution. He will lead the build and administration of discipline-specific objects such as equipment, cable trays, junction boxes, and circuitry elements, while ensuring alignment with project standards and data consistency across the engineering lifecycle. With over 6 years of hands-on experience, he will integrate electrical data with other disciplines, validate data integrity, and support template and library development for electrical systems. Leveraging his strong knowledge of electrical deliverables, engineering data structures, and industry standards, he will enable accurate, efficient, and standardized digital workflows in EPC and owner/operator environments across oil & gas, power, and infrastructure sectors. Roles & Responsibilities:- Lead the build and configuration of Electrical discipline objects within AVEVA Unified Engineering (UE) to align with project standards and templates.-Configure and manage electrical data structures, including equipment, cable trays, junction boxes, and wiring/circuitry elements.-Work with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical data with other disciplines (instrumentation, process, mechanical).-Maintain and validate engineering data integrity, ensuring consistency across databases and compliance with standards.-Support the development and maintenance of templates, libraries, and classification structures for electrical systems.-Perform data import/export, cleansing, and validation activities related to electrical deliverables.-Collaborate with engineering leads, IT teams, and AVEVA support to troubleshoot and resolve system and data-related issues.-Participate in system testing, user training, and preparation of configuration documentation. Skills:
-6+ years of experience working with AVEVA Unified Engineering (UE) in Electrical discipline build and configuration.-Strong knowledge of electrical engineering deliverables, including SLDs (single line diagrams), cable schedules, and equipment specs.-Experience configuring discipline-specific data objects in AVEVA UE and managing their interrelationships.-Familiarity with engineering data structures, standard naming conventions, and hierarchical modeling.-Proficient in data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting within AVEVA UE environments.-Strong understanding of electrical design workflows in EPC or Owner/Operator settings.
Additional Information:-Exposure to AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Engineering, or other related AVEVA tools.-Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, or ISO 15926.-Experience in data handover and digital twin readiness.-Experience working on large-scale capital projects in Oil & Gas, Power, or Infrastructure domains.
