Software Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Your main duties will include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality, and writing code in various tools such as C#, Asp.net, Asp.net Core, and MVC. It is essential to be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Your goal as a Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that adheres to coding standards and technical design. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with developers and other teams to design algorithms and flowcharts - Write clean and efficient code based on specifications - Integrate software components - Deploy and verify programs and systems - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software - Collect and assess user feedback - Recommend and implement improvements - Generate technical documentation for reference and reporting Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role - Experience with software development in a test-driven environment - Proficiency in coding languages/tools such as C#, Asp.net, Asp.net Core - Familiarity with databases like MySQL and SQL Server - Knowledge of version control systems like Git/SVN - Ability to adapt and learn new languages and technologies - Strong communication skills - Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude - Attention to detail - Graduation in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent degree Additional Company Details: The company operates in the insurance domain and values exposure to cloud computing services, knowledge of DevOps practices, and familiarity with frontend libraries/frameworks like React, Angular, etc. Apply for this Job: Please send your CV to irecruitment@smcinsurance.com,
