The successful candidate will contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliverables. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and implement scalable and high-performance software applications, with a focus on e-commerce, site integration, platform optimization, site maintenance, data-driven, and AI-powered products. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable production-level code while following best practices. - Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to validate software functionality and reliability. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues promptly. - Optimize and refactor existing code to enhance efficiency, readability, and maintainability. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed software, APIs, and system architectures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features. - Integrate software with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL, MongoDB) for robust data management. - Develop front-end components and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Next.js. - Build and maintain services primarily using Next.js and Python-flask frameworks for high-performance applications. - Leverage cloud platforms (preferably Azure) for deployment, scalability, and application management. - Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external services and applications. - Apply software design patterns to enhance code reusability, scalability, and maintainability. - Utilize Git and version control systems for effective collaboration and maintaining a structured codebase. - Ensure software security by implementing best practices, conducting security assessments, and mitigating vulnerabilities. - Engage in regular code reviews to uphold code quality, enforce best practices, and share knowledge within the team. - Continuously improve development processes and methodologies to boost productivity and software quality. **Additional Details:** The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in integrating third-party APIs across various domains for seamless connectivity and optimal performance. This includes Headless CMS Integration (e.g., Contentful), Product Information Management (PIM) Integration (e.g., Inriver), AI-Powered Search Integration (e.g., Algolia), CRM, ERP, and Sales Automation Integration (e.g., Salesforce, IFS), Mapping, Geolocation, and Security Services (e.g., Google Maps API, ReCAPTCHA), E-commerce Platform API Integration (e.g., Elastic Path), Authentication and Identity Management (e.g., Auth0), and Product Configuration Service (e.g., Tacton). Proficiency in RESTful and GraphQL APIs, strong JSON parsing skills, and experience in handling OAuth2, API keys, and webhook implementations are essential.
