SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - PHP

Role Overview: You will be a part of the development unit at eCare, where we are seeking talented developers who enjoy solving complex problems with a results-oriented approach. As a developer, you will work on a variety of web applications ranging from small database-driven websites to high-traffic portals. Collaborating in small teams with team leads, you will implement identified business requirements using recommended frameworks, coding standards, patterns, and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency with advanced PHP and MySQL. - Strong knowledge of the MVC pattern. - Proficiency in front-end development scripting languages/libraries and markups such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, and/or Mootools. - Familiarity with at least one Unix-based system (any Linux distribution). - Proficiency in data mining, data analytics, data manipulation, and reporting. - Familiarity with XML, JSON. - Understanding of Web services interaction models like RPC, SOA, REST. Qualifications Required: - Highly proficient in JavaScript (jQuery), AJAX. - Proficient with at least one PHP framework and/or Content management system such as CodeIgniter, Yii, CakePHP, Drupal, Joomla. - Proficiency in database architecture, optimization, and scalability standards. - Experience in Social Media, SEO. - Knowledge of SCRUM or Agile methodology. - Interest in digital marketing. - Working knowledge of SVN.
