Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our team as an Assistant Vice President (AVP). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using C#, WPF, and SQL. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with local business stakeholders to deliver customized solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain a software application (Risk Navigator) utilizing C#, WPF, and SQL. - Create new Application UI Modules in Javascript/React following company standards. - Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define software requirements. - Write clean and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software reliability. - Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed. - Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback. - Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance skills and knowledge. - Support the migration to .net core and microservice architecture. - Connect to data services and design APIs for third parties. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in C# programming language and .NET Framework. - Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for desktop applications. - Strong knowledge of SQL for query definition and database management. - Familiarity with Javascript and React for UI development. - Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities. - Capacity to work independently and manage time efficiently. - Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
