Position:

We are seeking a Backend Content developer to build and maintain business rules and logic. The incumbent will review detailed requirements and flow diagrams to understand what each rule is supposed to do, then leverage predefined excel based templates and write out Logic in Java. This will be later converted into JSON files that systems use to apply the rule. The incumbent will also be responsible for unit testing in cucumber to simulate different scenarios and ensure that the rule behaves correctly.

Preferred candidate profile

Must Have Requirements:

2-5 years (5 years max) experience in Java
Experience with Cucumber testing for unit tests
Experience with JSON file format
Experience with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and Visio
Exhibit strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a knack for proactively identifying and resolving technical issues
Possess good communication and documentation skills through clearly written, concise, and comprehensive documentation
Intermediate knowledge of Medicare, Auto Fee Schedule, and Reasonable Fee Payment methodology

Nice To Have:

IntelliJ Experience
Postgres and MSSQL experience
Experience with querying postgres tables
Content Development Experience in a healthcare environment
Experience working with or around Business Rules Engines within a Business Process Management System - DROOLs/Java Experience
Knowledge of or experience in Medical coding
Rules engine does medical bill review, and they develop the recommended reimbursement
