Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support various connectors provided for both
Information Server
and
Cloud Pak for Data (CPD)
platforms through the full software development lifecycle.
Participate in the
design and implementation
of complex software systems ensuring high-quality standards.
Collaborate with
Product Architects
and
Product Managers
to understand priorities and execute project deliverables effectively.
Conduct
software design and code reviews
with peers to maintain high software quality and promote knowledge sharing.
Follow professional
software engineering practices
using tools and methodologies such as
Agile Development, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Source Code Management (Git), and GitHub
.
Ensure comprehensive
code coverage
, support
bug fixes
, and participate in deployment to target environments.
Plan, create, and execute
automated test cases
including
load and performance testing
.
Create and maintain
technical documentation
and adhere to release processes and compliance requirements.
Handle and debug
customer issues
, collaborating closely with
L2 support teams
.
Maintain proficiency in
software engineering best practices
, contributing to the technical growth of team members.
