Project Role : Software Configuration Engineer Project Role Description : Implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements. Must have skills : Service Integration and Management (SIAM) Good to have skills : Infrastructure Service Management Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Graduate or above Summary :As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Your typical day will involve assisting in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements using Service Integration and Management (SIAM) skills. Roles & Responsibilities: Plan and communicate release windows and overall release Lifecyle. Evaluate and maintain release management processes, quality gates and deliverable. Review and ensure completeness of release artifacts. Ensure compliance to entry and exit governance criteria on every deployment. Plan and communicate release schedule to Stakeholders. Publish regular release status to Stakeholders. Manage and execute emergency release activities. Monitor and control all release activities. Maintain and publish release calendar. Facilitate release planning and go-no-go sessions with Stakeholders. Manage and identify risks that may affect release scope, release duration, and environments. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Service Integration and Management (SIAM) skills. Good To Have Skills:Infrastructure Service Management. Experience in software configuration and customization. Strong understanding of software configuration management principles. Experience with software configuration management tools. Experience with software development methodologies. Experience with software testing methodologies. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Service Integration and Management (SIAM). This position is based at our Bengaluru office. Qualification Graduate or above
