We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to join our dynamic and innovative technology team. In this role, you will showcase technical leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead technical design reviews and promote a quality culture. Your responsibilities will include defining requirements, designing, and shaping technology innovation at Litera. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the technical strategy of a growing and evolving ecosystem, working closely with both the Engineering and Product teams across products and the underlying technology platform. Our customers rely on us to deliver innovative, strategic, and forward-looking solutions, making this role a key position within a global software company. Responsibilities: - Develop innovative architectural solutions in various problem sets and domains. - Share architectural designs, best practices, and technology roadmaps with cross-functional teams. - Translate business and product requirements into technical requirements, models, and software architectures. - Focus on non-functional requirements such as deployment needs, scalability, performance, and reliability when developing architectures. - Create proof of concept solutions to illustrate technical designs and desired architectures. - Design guidelines to transition on-premises systems to SAAS-based multi-tenant solutions on Azure Cloud. - Drive new technology adoption by delivering Proof of Concepts with supporting design diagrams, technical documentation, business impact analysis, and ROI. - Optimize cloud-based systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery. - Mentor the team towards a unified platform architecture across the organization. Qualifications: - 8+ years of software development experience with strong .NET/C#, React, and TypeScript coding skills. - 4+ years of experience as a Software Architect in a product organization. - 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud computing (Azure preferred). - BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering (or related experience). - Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices. - Experience in building highly scalable and resilient cloud services. - Experience in developing reference architectures and proof of concept prototypes. - Experience in implementing modern security solutions including token-based authentication, OAuth 2.0 workflows, SAML authentication, and authorization techniques. - Preferable experience in Azure OpenAI/GPT/LLMs, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure CosmosDB, Lucene/Elasticsearch, Azure DevOps, CI/CD. - Preferable certifications in Microsoft or other industry architecture certifications are a plus.
