Job Description

Job Summary:

The Soft Skills Trainer cum Business Consultant is responsible for enhancing employee and partner capabilities through effective communication, leadership, and behavioural training while also driving business growth by providing consulting support to clients in process improvement, customer engagement, and operational excellence. The role requires a blend of training expertise, business understanding, and strategic consulting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Training & Development

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions on communication, teamwork, leadership, customer service, time management, and workplace etiquette.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis.
  • Create customized training materials, case studies, and role plays aligned with business goals.
  • Evaluate post-training effectiveness and prepare feedback/reports for management.
  • Coach individuals and teams to improve interpersonal and professional effectiveness.

B. Business Consulting

  • Work closely with MSMEs/SMEs to analyze business operations and identify improvement areas.
  • Provide consulting support in areas such as customer management, resource planning, marketing, branding, and digital transformation.
  • Assist in preparing business performance reports (P&L, sales, customer acquisition, etc.).
  • Support in designing growth strategies and implementing process improvement plans.
  • Partner with clients to align business goals with people and performance strategies.

C. Relationship & Project Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with clients, management, and training teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Track project milestones, ensure timely completion, and prepare periodic progress reports.

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Business acumen and understanding of MSME/SME operations.
  • Time management, adaptability, and consultative approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, digital collaboration tools, and presentation software.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, HR, Psychology, or related field.
  • Certification in Soft Skills / Behavioral Training preferred.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in corporate training, consulting, or business development roles.

Performance Indicators:

  • Training feedback scores and participant impact.
  • Business growth or improvement in client KPIs.
  • Timely project completion and client satisfaction levels.
  • Contribution to organization’s learning and consulting initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
