Social Studies Learning Facilitator (Assistant)

As an Assistant Learning Facilitator at Sparkling Mindz, your primary role will be to work towards creating systems to inspire, engage, and empower children and other stakeholders to sustain the transformation. You will be focusing on the subject area of Social Studies, specifically Citizenship World and Entrepreneurship. Sparkling Mindz has a unique approach to learning where subjects are transformed into learning areas with specific purposes and applications. For example, Social Studies is taught as CWE (Citizenship, World, and Entrepreneurship), emphasizing real-life problem-solving and innovation. **Role Overview:** - Support the planning of learning outcomes, lesson plans, worksheets, and resources - Assist in executing learning activities in classes, evaluating children's work, and providing updates and reports - Record and document children's observations and class updates daily - Collaborate with the team to deliver learning outcomes in a creative and connected manner - Interact with peers to share learnings and co-teach classes based on feedback - Aid in improving the learning process by iterating lesson plans and delivery methods - Attend team meetings and training sessions regularly - Introduce new and inspiring teaching methods for peer discussions **Key Responsibilities:** - Graduation/Post Graduation from any recognized University (Previous experience or B.Ed is a plus if it adds value) - Deep knowledge of the learning area applied for - Empathetic and creative approach towards teaching and learning - Excellent communication and listening skills - Previous training or counseling experience or a psychology background is a plus - Skills in creative writing, public speaking, or other hobbies are a plus - Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Fluency with technology **Qualifications and Qualities Required:** - Graduation/Post Graduation from any recognized University (Previous experience or B.Ed is a plus ONLY if you can showcase value) - Demonstrate extensive and deep knowledge of the learning area applied for - Demonstrate an empathetic and creative approach towards teaching and learning - Excellent communication and listening skills - Any previous training or counseling experience or a psychology background is a plus (need to be open to working with groups and not one-on-one counseling) - Demonstrable skills in creative writing, public speaking, or other hobbies are a plus - Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and an overall fluency with technology is a must Please email us your latest resume and a cover letter explaining why you would like to work with us and why you are suitable for this job.
