Job Description

  • A social media marketing intern helps a company grow its social media presence by creating and scheduling content, engaging with the audience, monitoring performance, and assisting with campaigns across various platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Key duties include developing content calendars, analyzing metrics, researching trends, and collaborating with the marketing team to align with overall business goals.
  • Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Developing text, images, videos, and infographics for social media posts, often in collaboration with a design team. Content Scheduling: Creating and maintaining content calendars, and using scheduling tools to post content on a regular basis.
  • Community Management: Monitoring social media channels, responding to comments and direct messages, and engaging with followers.
  • Campaign Support: Assisting in the planning and execution of social media marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and reach.
  • Performance Analysis: Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media efforts and provide insights.
  • Trend Research: Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the social media manager, marketing team, and other departments to ensure consistency and align with business objectives.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensuring the brand's tone, voice, and visual identity are consistent across all social media platforms.
  • Skills & Qualifications
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills to create engaging captions and interact with followers.
  • Creativity: Ability to generate creative concepts for original content and eye-catching graphics.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and social media management tools like Hootsuite or HubSpot.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to track, analyze, and report on social media metrics.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a content calendar and multiple tasks.
  • Educational Background: Often a bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: A proactive, "go-getter" attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,313.21 per month
