Role Objective

Social Media Manager

In corporate terms: this role turns ideas into influence and content into credibility.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Own and manage all social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube
  • Build and execute monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned with business priorities
  • Ensure consistent brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across platforms
  • Manage posting schedules, comments, DMs, and community engagement

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Create high-quality content including posts, carousels, reels, short videos, stories, and banners
  • Write compelling, brand-aligned copy for hiring posts, thought leadership, company updates, and campaigns
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to convert insights into publishable content
  • Repurpose long-form content (articles, reports, decks) into social-ready formats

Content Design & Visual Storytelling

  • Design creatives using tools like Canva, Adobe, Figma, or similar platforms
  • Ensure strong visual storytelling with clean, professional, and modern design aesthetics
  • Maintain brand templates, color palettes, typography, and design guidelines
  • Coordinate with external designers or video editors when required

Campaigns, Analytics & Optimization

  • Run and manage organic and paid social media campaigns (where applicable)
  • Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, follower growth, conversions)
  • Share regular performance reports with insights and improvement recommendations
  • Continuously test formats, hooks, and creatives to improve engagement

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Hands-on design capability with an eye for detail and aesthetics
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret analytics
  • Strong time management and ownership mindset

Preferred Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience as a Social Media Manager / Digital Content Manager
  • Prior experience in

    corporate, B2B, HR, consulting, or recruitment branding

    is a plus
  • Experience managing LinkedIn-first content strategies is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
