Job Description

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop engaging content (posts, reels, stories, videos) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • Create monthly content calendars and ensure timely posting.
  • Coordinate with designers and video editors to produce high-quality creatives.
  • Write clear, crisp, and brand-aligned captions, hashtags, and messaging.

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Plan and execute campaigns for conferences, events, speaker promotions, and announcements.
  • Monitor social media channels daily and ensure consistent activity.
  • Track and adapt to platform algorithm changes and trending formats (reels, memes, UGC style content).
  • Assist in running paid ad campaigns in coordination with marketing managers (if required).

Community Management

  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms.
  • Build and nurture online communities around the brand.
  • Engage with relevant pages, influencers, and partners to boost visibility.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth).
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and insights.
  • Suggest data-driven improvements for content and campaigns.

Event Support

  • Promote upcoming events through countdowns, speaker spotlights, venue teasers, and engagement posts.
  • Manage live coverage during events (stories, reels, updates).
  • Capture basic photos/videos during events for social content.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • 13 years of experience in social media marketing (events/healthcare background is a bonus).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva/Corel/Photoshop) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think visually and narratively.
