Job Description

  • We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead our online presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong content writing and storytelling skills, expertise in social media strategy, and the ability to create engaging and result-driven digital campaigns that align with the brands objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Manage and grow presence across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Threads, etc.)
  • Plan and schedule content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and brand objectives.
  • Monitor trends, audience insights, and competitor activity to optimize performance.

2. Content Writing & Creation

  • Write clear, engaging, and impactful copy for posts, reels, videos, blogs, and campaigns.
  • Craft compelling captions, taglines, and storytelling content that reflects the brands tone and voice.
  • Collaborate with designers and video editors to produce visually appealing creatives, infographics, and videos.
  • Repurpose content across different platforms for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Ensure all content is grammatically sound, brand-aligned, and SEO-friendly.

. Campaign Development

  • Plan and execute paid and organic campaigns across social media platforms.
  • Work closely with the design and admissions/marketing teams for campaigns tied to admissions, events, and outreach activities.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze results, and prepare monthly engagement and growth reports.

4. Community Management

  • Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Build and engage with online communities, student networks, and alumni pages.
  • Collaborate with influencers and partners for brand collaborations.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.) to measure effectiveness.
  • Present insights and improvement strategies to management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and algorithms.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword usage in social content.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
